You will be vacationing on a beautiful, though developing, Caribbean island. We’d like guests to be aware that electricity, internet & water outages are all possible throughout the island and wider region. These problems are always temporary & we of course do our best to speed any solution along.

We do not offer refunds if such issues occur as they are out of our control & a common part of life here in the Caribbean.

SELF CHECK-IN : There is no reception area so we have arranged a straight forward self-check-in for you. Full instructions will be sent via email a day before your arrival.

STAFF WORKING HOURS : Our staff are contactable between 8am & 8pm local time. If you plan to check in after 8pm, please inform our team in advance.

ELECTRICITY FEE : We charge electricity usage separately to encourage our guests to turn off all aircons/appliances when they are out. Standard rate is £2.90 in cooler months and $3.90 in warmer months. In the very rare case of excessive usage we will cap the max charge at $4/day (cooler months) and $5/day (warmer months)

TIMINGS :
Check in = anytime after 4pm.
Check out = anytime before 11am.
Late check outs are charged as an additional night as we will be unable to prepare the condo in time for the next guests. 

CAN WE FIX IT? If something breaks/stops functioning, please inform us ASAP so that we can address it for you. Equally, if the cleaners have overlooked something, please contact us.

STAFF ACCESS : Our maintenance staff may enter the apartment for repairs/checks, even if no one is home. You will be informed before they enter if you are not home. 

CLEANING SERVICE : Your booking cost covers your check-out-cleaning. You are welcome to purchase additional cleaning at anytime during your stay. Longer term guests are giving a complimentary cleaning and towel change weekly. 

BEACH : Cabarete is of course exposed to natural changes in tides & ocean patterns. At times the beach may be large, at other times the beach may disappear and local erosion can occur. We ask guests to fully appreciate that these natural processes are out of our control.

SMOKING : No smoking in the apartment. If you smoke just outside, please close all windows and doors.

SAND : Please use the pool showers to wash sand from yourself before entering the apartment. Our plumbing system cannot process sand and will likely become blocked.

RAIN : To prevent flooding, please shut doors/windows before leaving the apartment. Unexpected storms are common here.

PETS : No pets are allowed in the apartment.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT : We may charge you for any damaged/missing items or late check outs.

BOOKING DIRECTLY?

PAYMENT: Payment is made by direct bank transfer.

For bookings under 2 weeks, a $200 security deposit is taken when rental payment is made. For bookings over 2 weeks, a $500 security deposit is taken.

We strongly advise all our guests to take out travel insurance so that they are fully covered should they need to cancel last minute.
